Originally from Savannah, GA, I’ve bounced around and lived in a lot of places. I’ve lived in Tacoma, San Diego, Dallas, Jackson, Huntsville, Nashville, Palm Springs, Cedar City, Atlanta, Columbus, Las Vegas, Omaha, Chicago, and a few international locations. I’ve owned homes in many of these locations, and now that I’m in San Antonio, I own another one. I maintain residency in a few other cities, but this new move is where I’m going to remain for most of my time.
I chose San Antonio because I love Texas in general, and have never lived in San Antonio, but remembered liking it while I was here going through some military training in my 20’s. Being a pilot, I can pretty much go anywhere for a short duration, to explore, visit friends, etc., but I am at a stage in my life where I’m desiring a more consistent lifestyle, with local friends, that share similar interests.
San Antonio has been a big change in a lot of ways. I purchased a new construction home out here, much smaller than I am used to. I’ve downsized from a 7,000 square foot home that I sold for $2.2M to a 2,700 square foot home, and a lot of stuff had to go. Getting reestablished is a massive chore, but eventually I’ll get my new home just the way I want it.
I do miss my Vegas Golden Knights, but with my Center Ice package, I can watch every game on my TV… and that’s as sports as I get. I do not sit around watching sports (football, basketball, baseball, etc.) mindlessly yelling at the TV every night of the week… but for my Knights, I will spend a couple hours once or twice a week.
Anyway, that’s a little about me and why I’m here. I don’t know how you arrived at this page, whether you saw the license plate frame on my car, or the sticker on my truck, or if we met in person, but I’m glad you’re here. If there is anything I can do to help you, or you want to get a coffee and talk stocks, I’m game.
